Our founder’s journey began in 1996. From the web’s infancy to today’s complex markets, Alex has spent decades building and refining brand and revenue-generation systems that drive real growth.

Our Story

  1. Early Days

    From launching a first-of-its-kind locksmith website as Web Editors DBA, Alex emerged as a pioneer ahead of the digital agency era.

    He later worked on the digital systems behind an early DIY website builder platform in Denver, collaborating directly with executive leadership.

  2. Building Real Results

    Web Editors, Inc. was forged and scaled quickly by delivering high-performance digital services for local service and e-commerce businesses.

    The firm earned industry recognition by designing and developing digital platforms for Championship Off-Road Racing and top professional drivers, while engineering a custom VoIP system for VOX Conferencing used by politicians and industry leaders.

    The team also contributed to the design and development of Persony, an early web conferencing system led by the engineer behind QuickTime VR at Apple.

  3. Scaling What Works

    Expanded through acquisition and relocated to Temecula, Alex established a prominent presence.

    His expertise led to a guest speaking invitation at the prestigious eTail West conference, where he shared strategies for driving multi-million dollar eCommerce success.

  4. Today

    Alex and his wife Heather built TrustLocal on decades of combined, real-world tech experience. Built for local service businesses that need consistent inbound calls and real growth.
