Commitment to Compliance: Using our services means you’re on board with these terms, aligned with applicable laws and industry standards. If not, you must immediately cease using the TrustLocal Digital Services.
Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”)

Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the usage of all products and services offered by TrustLocal Digital and its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, and assigns. The AUP is incorporated into each agreement between TrustLocal Digital and its customers for the purchase and sale of the services. The policy is also incorporated into the Terms of Use applicable to the TrustLocal Digital website. TrustLocal Digital may modify this policy at any time by posting the updated policy at this URL. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of any changes. Where possible, TrustLocal Digital will notify customers via email of material updates.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to create a secure digital environment that protects TrustLocal Digital’s customers, site users, and the broader internet from illegal, disruptive, and irresponsible online activities. The policy applies to visitors of the TrustLocal Digital website, as well as customers and their employees, agents, contractors, or other users who obtain services from TrustLocal Digital on behalf of the customer. All users must apply good judgment when using TrustLocal Digital and its services. Services can only be purchased by individuals who are 18 years or older. Minors under 18 must have a parent or guardian purchase services for them and supervise their usage.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not engage in any of the following activities:
- Illegal Activities
- Utilize the services in connection with any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Copy material from third parties without proper authorization.
- Misappropriate or infringe upon the patents, copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
- Engage in trafficking of illegal drugs, unlicensed gambling, or the distribution of pornography.
- Export encryption software in violation of U.S. export control laws.
- Email and Communication Abuse
- Send unsolicited email that does not comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.
- Threaten bodily harm or make harassing, abusive, or obscene statements.
- Solicit the performance of illegal acts or services.
- Tortious or Civilly Actionable Behavior
- Publish or disseminate information that constitutes slander, libel, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
- Impersonate another person, forge identities, or otherwise mislead others as to your true identity.
- Network and System Abuse
- Cause denial of service (DoS) attacks against TrustLocal Digital or others.
- Post or execute software that consumes excessive server resources (CPU time, storage).
- Resell access to CGI scripts hosted on TrustLocal Digital’s infrastructure.
- Subvert, disable, or bypass security controls on any systems or networks.
- Gain unauthorized access to any computer or network environment.
- Share passwords or access credentials with unauthorized users.
- Malware or Harmful Code Distribution
- Upload, transmit, or distribute viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or any malicious code that may disrupt services, damage systems, or destroy data.
Catch-All Clause: This list is not exhaustive. TrustLocal Digital reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any conduct violates the spirit or intent of this policy.
Penalties
Violations of this AUP may result in immediate termination of services without a refund, as well as civil or criminal penalties. TrustLocal Digital reserves the right to investigate any violations of this policy and to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting violators.
TrustLocal Digital’s failure to enforce any part of this policy shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce any other part or the same part at a later time.
By using TrustLocal Digital’s services, customers and users agree to abide by this AUP.
